This is a record of both a process and a product that is rooted in deep interactions of human and the non-human in the physical world.
Each piece is a holographic representation of a unity of spirit and material.
Eco-prints start with hand harvested leaves, applied with precision and profound artistry.
Then using sustainable low-energy techniques the colors in the leaves are imprinted onto natural fibers like crepe de chine, linen, and raw silk.
Every scarf is a unique representation of skill, artistry and nature.
My function as an artist is to create beautiful things: things with spirit, objects with soul. My art connects with people to bridge the spiritual and physical.
My work centers on interconnections and relationships. These relationships are found between person and place, spirit and and the physical world. I find connections that people may not have thought of and look at things with fresh eyes. I see where the lines connect from where people are to where they want to be.
